The BOVET Récital 32 is BOVET 's first true GMT watch – condensing the traveler's dream into a wearable work of art, highlighting a soaring flying tourbillon and a ten-day power reserve.
Boss Pascal Raffy's bold vision was to incorporate one of the most captivating functions in watchmaking – the flying tourbillon – into BOVET's smallest ever case of this complication (42 mm), thus perfectly blending global versatility with exquisite craftsmanship.
Redefining the Vision
For over two centuries, BOVET has perfected the realm of travel watches – from the Récital 28 Prowess One, which solved daylight saving time, to the rare three-time-zone Récital 27, and numerous other timepieces in between. However, a true GMT watch has never appeared in BOVET 's product line… until now.

Introducing the Récital 32: Pascal Raffy, adhering to BOVET 's design philosophy, goes beyond simply featuring a second hour hand. This timepiece is a symphony, blending an extended flying tourbillon (elevated for enhanced visual appeal and transparency), a fully hand-engraved in-house movement (with a 10-day power reserve displayed via a roller), and an off-center domed guilloché dial adorned with eight layers of lacquer.
High Complication, Compact Packaging
In BOVET 's collections, the tourbillon is typically housed in larger, yet comfortable cases, such as the 46.3mm Récital 28 (comprising 744 parts) and the 44mm Virtuoso VIII (comprising 356 parts). But Mr. Raffy's task was to make this watch smaller and more suitable for everyday wear. Therefore, BOVET 's talented engineers, designers, and master watchmakers found a way to house their in-house movement, composed of 375 parts, within a 42mm case: they used a box-type sapphire crystal and elevated the patented flying tourbillon above the mainplate, making it more clearly visible from the front and sides.
As a completely in-house watchmaker, BOVET manufactures over 95% of its watch components, emphasizing handcraftsmanship at every stage. This autonomy is what makes these masterpieces possible. The watchmaking world has paid close attention to this, and since BOVET began producing its own movements in 2006, it has won over 70 awards, including six Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) awards in the past eight years.
The case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium or 18K red gold, consistent with the Récital 30 watch, emphasizing everyday elegance rather than ostentatious luxury. A local time display is located at 12 noon, surrounded by a blue guilloché day/night indicator, with 24-hour scales surrounding a separate GMT hand.
A dedicated pusher at 10 o'clock easily advances the hands, while the patented spherical winding system winds the watch with each rotation of the crown, extending the power reserve of the single mainspring barrel to ten days. Such exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship within a 42mm case is truly remarkable.
Adjustment is entirely intuitive: fully wind the mainspring, pull out the sapphire cabochon crown to adjust the local time (note the day/night cycle), and adjust the GMT time via the pusher—enjoy the experience. Two patented technologies—the flying tourbillon and the spherical winding system—underpin this, showcasing the remarkable achievements of BOVET engineers after two years of research and development.

Hand-engraved, handcrafted, exceptional quality
Every component of the new Récital 32 watch is meticulously hand-finished, including the movement’s bridges, which are entirely hand-engraved. The master engravers developed a new pattern—the “square star” (étoiles carrées). This hand-engraving takes at least 15 hours to complete, making every minute worthwhile.
The Récital 32 is available in titanium or 18K red gold, with three color schemes. The rubber strap matches the dial color, and each color scheme is limited to 60 pieces, each numbered.
