Grow a Garden 2: Two Walk Faster Tricks You Need to Know

If you've been playing Grow a Garden 2 on Roblox, you already know the struggle. When you first start out, your character moves at what feels like a total snail's pace. As your garden plot expands and you're forced to hustle back and forth between your crops and the shops, that slow base speed becomes a massive headache. Even worse, if you aren't fast enough, other players can swoop in and steal your hard-earned crops under the cover of night.

To save your sanity and secure your harvest, you need to maximize your movement efficiency. Fortunately, you don't have to just accept the slow grind. By combining a clever pet-stacking trick with a built-in UI feature that most beginners completely overlook, you can effectively eliminate manual travel time. Here are the two primary tricks you need to know to start zooming around the map.

1. Buy and Stack Bunny Pets for a Permanent Speed Boost

The single best way to passively upgrade your walking speed is by building yourself a tiny army of Bunny pets. Unlike some games where pets are just cosmetic or offer generic stat boosts, the Bunnies in this game directly affect how fast your legs can carry you.

Each equipped Bunny pet grants you a permanent +5 Walk Speed boost.

The trick here is all about stacking. When you first launch into the game, you are allowed to equip up to three pets simultaneously. Instead of mixing and matching, you want to hunt down three Bunnies as quickly as possible. Equipping three of them at the same time instantly nets you a +15 Walk Speed bonus, which completely changes how the game feels.

There are three ways to get your hands on these helpful little guys:

  • Keep your eyes peeled as you explore—Bunnies can randomly spawn as physical pickups across the map.

  • If you have the cash, you can buy them outright for 20,000 coins.

  • If you prefer to gamble, you can try hatching them from a Common Egg via the gacha system, which carries a 30% success rate.

Once you have your core squad equipped, you'll be flying across the map. Later on, you can push this speed even higher by applying Pet Toys to your equipped Bunnies to squeeze out every bit of velocity possible.

2. Stop Running and Use the UI Teleportation Buttons

The second trick is a bit ironic: the absolute fastest way to walk across the map is to not walk at all.

It is incredibly painful to watch new players waste precious daylight manually sprinting back and forth across the zone. The game actually gives you a built-in tool to avoid this entirely, but because it is tucked away in the user interface, a lot of people just don't notice it.

If you look directly at the top of your screen, you'll see a row of built-in teleportation buttons. Clicking these buttons will instantly warp your character directly to key landmarks:

  • The Seed Shop

  • Your personal Garden plot

  • The Sell Stand

Instead of running back to your plot when the sun starts setting, or jogging over to the merchant to unload your inventory, just tap the UI button. It cuts manual travel time down to literally zero seconds. By combining the raw sprinting speed of your Bunny stack with instant teleports, you can spend all your time optimizing your planting and making money, rather than dragging yourself across the dirt.
