Growing in the USDA zones 4-8, the Gold Mop False Cypress grows best in full sun to enjoy the best foliage color. It thrives well in well drained soil with little acidity. Shield against cold winter winds to foil foliage burn. Watering and fertilizing should be done in moderation.
